Privacy Policy

Goodlife Baby is published by Goodlife Baby LLC, an Arizona company ("we," "us"). This policy covers goodlife.baby, our emails, and Mama to Mama.

What we collect, and why

When you sign up for our letters: your email address, the stage you're in (expecting, new baby, and so on), and, if you share it, your due date or your baby's birthday. We use these only to send you letters that fit where you are, week by week.

When you share a Mama to Mama story: your first name, email address, city and country, your story, and whether you'd like to record a video. We use these to read your story, write back to you about it, and, only with your permission, share it.

When you record a Mama to Mama video: your video and voice, plus the first name and email you enter. You can also email a video to us. Videos are covered by our Contributor Release.

When you email us: whatever you choose to include, so we can write back.

What stays on your phone

Our Little Helpers (the due date helper, contraction timer, first foods tracker, nap helper, firsts keepsake and share the load) save what you enter only in your own browser, on your device. That information is never sent to us. Clearing your browser data erases it.

What we never do

• We never sell your information.
• We never show your email address or last name publicly.
• We never share your story or video without your permission.
• We don't use advertising trackers or analytics on our site.

Who helps us

A few trusted services help us run Goodlife Baby. They handle your information only to do their job for us:

• Kit sends our emails and keeps our subscriber list.
• Netlify hosts our site and receives the forms you send us.
• VideoAsk (by Typeform) records and stores Mama to Mama videos.
• Google Fonts supplies the lettering on our pages, so your browser connects to Google when a page loads.
• Instagram: some stories show posts from Instagram. When they load, Instagram may receive information from your browser and set its own cookies, under Instagram's own privacy policy.

We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety of a person.

Your choices

• Stop our emails anytime with the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every letter.
• See, correct or delete what we hold about you: email privacy@goodlife.baby. We answer within 30 days.
• Take down your story or video: email us and we'll remove it within 3 business days. See the Contributor Release.

How long we keep it

Your email and letter details stay until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Stories and videos we share stay up until you ask us to take them down. Stories and videos we don't use are deleted after 12 months.

Keeping it safe

We use reputable services with strong security, and we limit who can see what you send us. No system is perfect, so please don't send anything you'd never want shared, such as medical records or ID numbers.

Children

Goodlife Baby is written for parents, not children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we'll delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If the change is important, we'll tell subscribers by email.
