How it's shared

Who does what.

Sit down together and choose for each one. It's a conversation, not a scorecard.

Why it matters.

In a 2026 Pew Research Center survey of working parents, 65% of moms who share day-to-day parenting equally were very satisfied with the split, compared with 22% of moms who do more of it. Couples do best when they talk about roles before the baby arrives and check in again as life changes.
